1. Who May Use the Platform

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform, and at least 18 to enter into binding agreements or make purchases. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and current.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

• Provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
• Do not share your account or let others use it on your behalf.
• You are responsible for content you upload, including photos, trip notes, and profile details.

3. Your Content & Ownership

You retain full ownership of the photos, text, trip records, and other materials you upload ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

By uploading User Content, you grant Get Off the Couch & Travel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, displaying, and promoting your profile and the Platform. This license exists only so we can show your content where you have asked us to, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to reasonable backup retention. 4. Acceptable Use

To keep the community welcoming and safe, you agree not to misuse the Platform. Our Community Guidelines describe expected behavior in more detail.

• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
• Do not post unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or sexually explicit material.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

5. Travel Information Is Informational Only

Destination ideas, itineraries, recommendations, and questionnaire results provided by Get Off the Couch & Travel are for general informational and inspirational purposes only. They are not professional travel, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice, and we do not guarantee any particular travel outcome. You are responsible for verifying travel requirements and making your own decisions. Please review our Travel Disclaimer.

6. Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party, and your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform itself, including our name, logo, design, and software, is owned by Get Off the Couch & Travel and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or use our branding without permission. This does not affect your ownership of your own User Content.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create risk for the community. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership and disclaimers) will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Get Off the Couch & Travel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any travel-related loss, arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the version number and effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
