Content & Photo License Policy

1. You Own Your Content

You retain full ownership of all photos, captions, trip records, and other materials you upload ("User Content"). Uploading content to the Platform does not transfer ownership to Get Off the Couch & Travel.

2. The License You Grant Us

By uploading User Content, you grant Get Off the Couch & Travel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to host, store, reproduce, resize, and publicly display that content for the purpose of operating and showcasing your profile and the Platform.

• The license exists only so we can display content where you have chosen to share it.
• We may create technical copies (such as thumbnails and backups) needed to run the service.
• We will not sell your photos or license them to unrelated third parties.

3. Promotional Use

We may feature publicly shared profiles or content within the Platform and in limited promotion of the Platform itself (for example, highlighting community profiles). If we wish to use your content in a significant external marketing campaign, we will seek your permission first.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Only upload content you created or have the right to share.
• Respect the privacy and rights of people who appear in your photos.
• Do not upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights.

5. Removing Content & Ending the License

You can delete your User Content or your account at any time. When you do, the license you granted ends, and we will remove the content from public display within a reasonable period. Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited time before being overwritten.

6. Copyright Concerns

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, contact us at hello@getoffthecouchandtravel.com with a description of the content and your claim, and we will review it promptly.
